SPECIAL PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT


As part of our vision to restore Ala-Igbo to the dream of our founding fathers and contribute our quota in maintaining sanity in our polity, the Youth Wing of Ohanaeze Ndigbo has in their 21st NEC meeting resolved to monitor the November 11 Governorship election going on in Imo State very stringently. In the light of the above, we have set out the following plans to aid our outing:


(1) The Twenty Seven (27) Local Government Youth Leader of Ohanaeze Ndigbo are to report to their various Local Government INEC offices and work closely with the respective Local Government Returning Officer as agreed in our stakeholders meeting.


(2) Aside the police toll free numbers and considering the restriction to movement, you can call or WhatsApp Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Wing Worldwide on the 07046043131 should you notice any anomaly. You can also forward pictures of any unlawful situation to the Whatsapp line. (4) All the 305 Ohanaeze Ndigbo Ward Youth Leaders are to work hand-in-hand with the INEC ward collation officers as agreed in the stakeholders meeting.


(5) All the 4,758 polling unit officers should work strictly with the INEC returning officers and the security agencies to resist any unlawful activities at the polling units.


(6) The task to liberate Imo State and by extension Ala-Igbo is a responsibility which no one should shy away from as those at the receiving end is normally our innocent brothers.


(7) Remember that Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Wing is apolitical, resist every temptation to betray this noble association.
