Episode 1 part 2

Like I said in part part 1 of this episode, No one for now can record all the good work of this Ebonyi Born philanthropist popular called Dr GOC (Ikenga 1 of Igbo land) but we have to start from somewhere. His kindness is beyond human comprehension even as he has never held any political position before.

Sometimes ago, Dr. GOC (Ikenga 1 of Igbo) assembled people and told them of his intention to create a workable foundation that will enable him to invest into education. He told them of his intention to make the son of nobody to become somebody without knowing anybody. He further told them that his target will be the downtrodden and the less privileged. 

When I was told of the story, I laughed thinking that it is one of those political stage managed foundation that is everywhere. I never believed it but Dr. GOC has proved me wrong. He has shown me that everything is possible and that God has come down yet again in the likeness of man; going about, doing good, saving lives and restoring hope to humanity.

How can I explain to my world that a single individual without government affiliation raised an educational foundation of one hundred million naira (100,000,000.00) and it was not a film trick or political propaganda. This is beyond my natural natural explanation as I believe that I need a spiritual undertone to be able to decipher the real meaning of Dr. GOC and his mission to humanity. 

I demanded the list of the 105 beneficiaries of the 100 million naira scholarship foundation of Dr GOC for an independent investigation. It was availed to me by the spokesperson of GOSIMA group of companies. I have called 30 parents picked randomly from the list and they story is positively unchanging. Some of the told me that GOC did not only give their children scholarship through higher institution in the course of study of their choice, he has also borne their respective family burden. This is beyond human comprehension.

And I asked, how can humanity pay this man for his good works. Where are we going to start from? Do you know that in the next twenty years when the effects of this human capital investment will be ripe for harvest, that the entire human race can not finish the product. 

I want to use Igbo language and invoke the God of blessing in Ala Igbo to bless Dr GOC for us.
