A friend called me and demanded an explanation of how Peter Mbam Embezzled Ohanaeze Youth Wing money. I laughed and asked him not to distract me with something I have let go off me. As we went to Enugu, I never knew that His Excellency has given them enough money to take us through the election and they were billing me. I lodged all the delegates from Ebonyi State at Tamara hotels and catered for their feeding. They were later paid 20k each and I was heavily owing.

After the election, I got the first money and thought it wise to pay a Thank You visit to all of them that saw us through the whole exercise. Each of them got two cartoon of Vienna Wine, some cartons of water and other things. You can imagine how many of them (stakeholders) that accompanied us to Enugu for that election. My people (especially Obinna) were blaming me for that courtesy but I insisted.

Controlling the Youths was so funny as all of us came from different Governors of the south East and different political parties (PDP, APC and APGA) with different ideologies. People from Anambra never saw anything good in Ebonyi State and the internal crisis was being managed. More worrisome is when they begin to insult the Governors of Ala-Igbo against the charge given to us Late Professor George Obiozor. The Chief of staff to former Abia Governor, Chief Agbazuere once sent me a publication on the wall of Enugu State Youth Leader and asked me if this is what we were elected to be doing. I tried controlling the young man and we fell out. He claimed that when he insult the Governors, they will call us and give us some money.

At that moment, I became confused as the only source of getting money for the organization is to go and beg around the government house. I had written to all the Governors for courtesy visit but no way as they will only invite you when they want to use you for endorsement to any of their interest. We have not made any outing and it was really disturbing as all pressure were mounted on me. They began to plot coup d'etat.

I was invited to Owerri in honour of Former President Buhari visit and I decided to carry all of them along. I was the only one allowed into the venue and I asked them to return to their hotel rooms. No quite long I finished discussing with them, Hon. Chinasa Nwaneri (Chief of Staff to Hope Uzodimma) sent me what Enugu State Youth Leader wrote on Facebook that "BUHARI CAME TO DANCE ON THE GRAVE OF THE IGBO YOUTHS HE MASSACRED". I wasn't myself in that hall. Because of that, we weren't given anything in that program. I went back to complain to them of the kind of embarrassment they are putting us through, they rather start attacking my own Governor on Facebook. That was the one I couldn't take and we almost fought.

They went and gathered somewhere and said that they have suspended me without reporting the matter to the parent body. They knew that they are wrong and they insist on taking the wrong path. I was told of what they did to Arthur Obiora, my immediate predicessor and that was exactly what they are starting with me. I became bolder. In all these while, I never knew that the whole problems were being remoted by my state president and others who believe that once there is problem money will start gushing out.

One day, His Excellency my Governor invited me and Mbam. He asked us to invite those my members that he might talk to them. Mbam quickly interrupted him and said that he has plans to solving the problem and that we should give him Two weeks. He said that he has perfected arrangement with one Dr. Kingsley from Abia state and one Mr. Ezechi Chukwu from Imo State. And that all he needs is money. I was speechless as I was not given opportunity to talk in the meeting.

I raised 2 Million Naira and gave to Mbam and we went to Abia state over the matter. The only thing being discussed there was how much each of them get as allowance for coming. Mbam came and told me that the money has finished and that he will need another money. I gave him another 2 Million Naira through Obinna Edene and this time around, they came to Ebonyi and shared the money. That was when it was done on me that this is an organized crime. He came again and requested for money and I said over my dead body. He later went to my Council Chairman Hon Onyebuchi Ogbadu and collected more than 3 million Naira. 

In all these, he never allowed me to know how much he is giving to anyone and other things thereof. One day, he went to the national platform and wrote that I Embezzled their money. When I saw it, I demanded how he spent those monies I have been giving to him and he refused giving me the report. I wrote a petition against him at the public complaint commission Abakaliki and when he appeared before, he started denying that I didn't have him any money.  When I presented the evidences of the ones I paid to his account and the ones I gave him by hand, he almost fainted there. The commission downplayed the matter and asked him to go and refund my money or give me evidences of how he spent the money for record purposes.

Up till today, he has not done that.
