I receive the good news that MOST HIGH CHIEF IFEANYI CLEMENT OKORIE AKA ENYIWAA UZO 1 OF ISHIAGU KINGDOM has paid up the 80 million naira he pledged at the inauguration of Her Excellency Mrs Nwifuru people's oriented Pet Project tagged BETTER HEALTH FOR RURAL WOMEN, CHILDREN AND INTERNALLY DISPLACED FOUNDATION (BERWO)  which took place at Christian Ecumenical Center Abakaliki on the 15th of November 2023. This is in the spirit of TALK-AND-DO that runs in the blood of Ndi Ishiagu. 


For record purposes, Most High Chief Ifeanyi Clement Okorie aka ENYI WAA Uzo 1 OF ISHIAGU KINGDOM did not start his benovelence today. He singlehandedly gave out 6 million naira to Obi cubana during his mothers burial at Oba Anambra State. He also gave 10 Million Naira to High Chief Gideon Ossi Chidiebere (GOC) at Ishiagu last year. This Ishiagu born business man who has not tasted any government position has done for Ndi Ishiagu what no government can do for them; sometimes ago he came and measured all the roads in Ishiagu Kingdom and awarded it to a company who has delivered all the roads and they are currently in use. At the moment, Ndi Ishiagu may not be needing any government of any kind for any assistance whatsoever. We are comfortable in Oloye.


I want to use this medium to apologize to the public for the misinformation which emanated from my end that Oloye donated 45 Million naira to the pet project. It was  actually 80 million naira. The reason for the misinformation was that when he was mentioning the money, everybody in the hall stand in high spirited ovation on the sound of currency. Even me, I could not stay at one place as I moved round the entire hall telling people that am from Ishiagu. 


Now that the list of the donors at the project has emerged and no one individual could give up to 20 million except Oloye. I make bold say that Ndi Ishiagu deserve a well structured congratulatory Message for the gift of Oloye. His type is rare and comes once in the centuries of human existence. There is only one of his type in Ebonyi State if not Nigeria. 


How can we pay Oloye back should be the biggest question in the mind of this current Ebonyi State Government.
