Congratulatory Message

I want to begin this message by appreciating God for the gift of a special person like Hon Ajah Emmanuel Ogbonnia who incidentally is the Council Chairman of Ivo LGA. Many people don't really know what he is going through in that position. It is not easy to govern a place with so many big stakeholders that has unfettered access to your Boss. Where do I start from; is it Sen. Anyim, Aroh Nweke, Uchenna Orji, Kama Kama, Oloye, GOC, Mak & Mak and the list is endless. These people can pick their phone and call Governor Nwifuru at the comfort of their home and you as the Council Chairman will be in trouble. But Confirm has united all these stakeholders under one umbrella of love. The sincere truth is that I cannot do it and am glad that am learning fast under him.

What happened in Ishiagu in the last few days was occasioned to consume lives, houses will go down and the place will be made inhabitable. Even some people have sent their families out of the town so that they will not incur much human losses. It started with ICDU Election and the plan didn't materialize, it went down to community elections and God showed himself great. Before It came to ANO Stone Dealers Association election, we were already helpless. Thank God it end in the loss of properties. 

Now Chukwu James has been lifted to the exalted position of ANO Stone Dealers Association Chairman. A position that controls the economic prowess of Ndi Ishiagu. God has a purpose of bringing him to that position. He did not emerge from either camp. His first assignment should be to unite the warring parties and I know that it is possible. I know the kind of temptations at exist that point but I believe that God will engrace him to successfully overcome them.

Many atimes we focus on the goal scorers without remembering the person that made the assist. The indispensability of the person of Mazi Iwuchukwu Ogbonnia Onu is undisputable. His role in ensuring that Ivo LGA remains peaceful can never be estimated. He has the solution to virtually every problems and is a special gift from God. Sorry I have to said this, while in a meeting at Owerri, a very big stakeholder (name withheld) once mentioned that the only way to successfully destabilize the government of Ivo LGA is to cause problem between Mazi Onu and the Council Chairman. But in all those attempts, Mazi Onu refused to go. God has a special way of rewarding him as man cannot pay him for all his selfless services.

Hon. Ajah Emmanuel Ogbonnia is a destinied child. Biblically, he is the Joseph of our time. He has survived the worst ever kind of set-up in Ivo LGA. He is the best among equal. 

While I congratulate my brother and friend, Mr James Chukwu on his emergence as the Union Chairman, I want to beg Mazi Ogbonnia Onu and Hon. Emmanuel Ajah  not to be far from the Government. They should help to stabilize our Union for us and ensure that these wounds heal fast.
